TERMS & CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP
The following Terms and Conditions apply to membership of The Liberation Club (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Scheme’) operated by Libidex Ltd of 1 Millman Mews, Holborn, London WC1N 3EH (Hereinafter referred to as ‘the Company’). Members of the Club are deemed to have agreed to these Terms and Conditions by virtue of their membership.
Members must be 18 years of age or more to participate in the Scheme.
The Scheme is available to private individuals only. Membership is not available to businesses or organisations of any kind.
The fees for Club membership will be:
- £200 – Platinum Membership
- £100 – Gold Membership
- £50 – Silver Membership
Upon payment of the annual membership fee, the member shall be entitled to the privileges and benefits set out under “Privileges and Benefits” for one calendar year from the date payment of the membership fee is received.
Members may upgrade to a higher membership category at any time upon payment of the additional membership fee.
Members may not downgrade their membership category until their membership is due for renewal.
Membership fees are not refundable, except in the event that the whole Scheme is terminated.
Members will be issued with a membership card bearing a unique membership number, and will be required to choose a user name (not necessarily their actual name), which will be printed on the card. This number and user name must be given to obtain discounts on Libidex products and services.
Members will be required to give their names, address, telephone number and email address when applying for membership. These details will be held by Libidex Ltd on a confidential database and will not be divulged to third parties under any circumstances.
- Membership is not transferable.
Liberation Club membership cards may only be used by the person to whom they are registered.
Members purchasing goods at the Libidex shop Liberation at 49 Shelton St, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9HE or any other Libidex outlet participating in the Scheme may be required to provide proof of identity in addition to their membership card.
Liberation Club membership cards are not designed to be used as proof of identity.
Goods purchased through the Libidex website under the Scheme will normally be sent only to the registered member at the address given on registration.
Members undertake not to resell any items bought under the Scheme to third parties for commercial gain. Any members found so doing will have their membership withdrawn immediately.
Members must notify the Company of any changes in circumstances which may affect their membership (eg change of address). The Company cannot accept responsibility for any consequences of members failing to update personal information held by the Scheme.
The Company reserves the right, on notifying the member, to immediately suspend or terminate their membership if, in the Company’s reasonable opinion, the member:
has breached these Terms and Conditions
has behaved fraudulently
has supplied false or misleading information to the Company
has been abusive or offensive to any member of the Company’s staff
The Company may alter these Terms & Conditions from time to time, and will give members as much notice as it reasonably can of such changes. Any changes or notifications will be published on the members’ website and members are advised to check this website for such changes from time to time.
The Company may suspend or terminate the Scheme at any time, but it will give as much notice as it reasonably can before it does. In this event membership fees will be refunded pro rata for the outstanding months of membership due.
